I have had my animal crossing villagers since August 07. How can i get rid of them?

Your best bet is to ignore them. They usually leave on their own. Or, if you have a friend with a gamecube or DS, you can have your villagers visit another town. They usually stay at the village their visiting, and you get new neighbors!
