Drapery Duvet
What color of curtains/draperies compliment well for a large bedroom with gray walls throughout?
The gray walls in my bedroom seem to change shade: during the day, it's more of a blue gray, but at night, the color can change to a tint of a purple gray due to the brazillian cherry wood floor, which adds richness to the dullness of the gray walls in the large room.
I like the previous suggestions I received of accenting the bedroom with blues, lilacs, and/or purples. I was thinking about using a dark plum purple duvet cover in the winter by accenting the bedroom with deep purples and lighter shades of puples, but for the spring and summer, I would like to change my bedding color by getting a comforter (in a shade of hydrangea blue) to give freshness to the room by changing out my accent colors maybe to the light blue hues with some silver. I would like to keep one set of curtains though. What color curtains would be good that would compliment well with dark plum purple as well the lighter blue color? Any ideas would help. Thanks!
