Wedding table decor ideas?

Ok, so I'm a little lost on how to set up my reception tables without making them look 80's or tacky. My colors are light blue, chocolate brown and cream/ivory. Those together, or too much of one over the other can look really bad. I'm making Chocolate brown my main color with pops of blue and ivory in places.

I have to use most of the stuff that the venue provided (ivory plates, napkins, table cloth, etc.) But I can afford to rent napkins or table cloths if need be. I'm going for a earthy nature theme, so I don't want the very shiny or blingy fabric. I was thinking of sticking with the ivory table cloth and getting brown napkins? or brown tablecloth and blue napkins? I'm getting chivari chairs with ivory seat cusions... but I'm totally lost on how to incorporate everything else.... HELP!

Honestly, I would switch the colors for the reception decor. You can make brown the main color with splashes of blue for the bridesmaid dresses, etc.....but for the reception it would be a lot easier to do blue as the main color with splashes of brown. This is because you don't want your space to look really dark with all that chocolate brown. It will feel small and enclosed. Do the lighter color (blue or ivory) with pops of the darker brown.

I would do this:

Ivory tablecloths (since they are already provided!) with brown napkins and blue flowers in brown wooden boxes or brown stoneware jars for the centerpieces.

For some "accent" tables (escort card table, gift table, punch table, etc) you could use the brown tablecloth.....but I wouldn't use it on all the eating tables. It just seems like too much to me.
