What should be the price per square yard to install a "good" above average, but not the best carpet.?

I am hoping to get and estimated price for everything out the door, including pad (7/16 inch 5.5 lb) and labor. Thanks for the help in advance.

$4 to $5 per sq foot, i priced it about a month ago and in my area home depot had a large selection for the price , a few smaller places were competive with price but didnt offer as large of a selection, as per the quality - that price gets you great quality in a variety of types of rugs. low end rug is around $2/sq ft. while High End is around $8/sq ft, im sure you can spend even more then that but i didnt even look any higher cause there was a great deal of quality options at that price. i even found some nice looking with a high stain resistance and good warranty at around $3/sq ft. and all the prices included pad and installation, but installation on stairs might run you a little more. carpets also have ratings- your dealer can tell you about it- will helkp you choose the right carpet for your application. hope that helps.
